Press Release
Winter Watering Guidelines in effect November 1 - March 31, 2019
The following is a message from the City of Plano:
Plano residents and businesses are asked to only water a maximum of ONCE per week from November 1 - March 31.
- Turn off automatic sprinklers now that cooler weather has arrived. Most grasses go dormant until spring, which reduces your lawn’s need for water. Subscribe to WaterMyYard.org Opens a New Window. for customized weekly watering recommendations.
- If watering is needed, set your sprinklers to run when the temperature is warmer, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., to avoid icing of streets and sidewalks.
- Planting cool season grasses, such as rye or fescue, is discouraged. These grasses require extra water during winter.
- Excessive water runoff and watering during rain, ice or snow is prohibited.
- Visit plano.gov/outdoorwateruse for more ways to save water outdoors.
*As HOA watering involves watering of their common areas and in many cases the City of Plano right of way (which has no address), it was decided that all HOA watering and addresses ending in zero would follow an EVEN address watering schedule.

Hail Storm Damage Repair, Roof Replacement and Other ACC GuidelinesDamage from the Wednesday, March 23, 2016 hail storm to the homes in our neighborhood was widespread.
If you haven't already done so, please complete all necessary repairs soon. Many insurance companies have a 1 year time limit to file a claim. WIth that deadline now passed, the association will be contacting the few homeowners who have not completed repairs privately seeing a timeline for completion.
Please remember that all homes in Harrington Homeplace HOA are subject to the HOA's Covenants Conditions Restrictions and other governing documents and that most exterior modifications including roof replacement require the approval of the HOA's Architectural Control Committee.
To help make the process easier on everyone, the ACC has made much information available on its website.
Please read the letter (available here) and follow the links to the referenced information.
Changes to the Exterior of Home or Property Most changes to the exterior of our homes, including landscaping changes, require the prior approval of the Association's Architectural Control Committee (ACC).
If you are planning to make a change to the exterior of your home (new addition, roof, fence, paint, landscape, trees, etc.), you are required to submit an Architectural Control Committee (ACC) Change Request in order to obtain approval PRIOR to the changes.
Other Association documents and forms can be found here.
SPRINKLERS or other Landscaping Infrastructure Issues
Please contact Landscaping Committee if you notice any problems with the irrigation system, like broken sprinkler heads, stuck valves, etc., or landscape lighting in the common areas.
