  • Hail Storm Damage Repair, Roof Replacement and Other ACC Guidelines
Damage from the Wednesday, March 23, 2016 hail storm to the homes in our neighborhood was widespread.

If you haven't already done so, please complete all necessary repairs soon. Many insurance companies have a 1 year time limit to file a claim. WIth that deadline now passed, the association will be contacting the few homeowners who have not completed repairs privately seeing a timeline for completion.

Please remember that all homes in Harrington Homeplace HOA are subject to the HOA's Covenants Conditions Restrictions and other governing documents and that most exterior modifications including roof replacement require the approval of the HOA's Architectural Control Committee.

To help make the process easier on everyone, the ACC has made much information available on its website.

Please read the letter (available here) and follow the links to the referenced information.

  • Winter Watering Guidelines in effect November 1 - March 31

The following is a message from the City of Plano:

Beginning November 1, Plano residents and businesses are asked to only water a maximum of ONCE per week

2017 Recommended Winter Water Guidelines

  • Turn off automatic sprinklers now that cooler weather has arrived. Most grasses go dormant until spring, which reduces your lawn's need for water. Subscribe to WaterMyYard.org for weekly watering recommendations.
  • If water is needed, set your sprinklers to run when the temperature is warmer, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., to avoid icing of streets and sidewalks.
  • Planting cool season grasses, such as rye or fescue, is discouraged. These grasses require extra water during the winter months.
  • Excessive water runoff and watering during rain, ice or snow is prohibited.
  • A variance may be requested to water new landscapes for up to 30 days. Instructions are available at plano.gov/variances. Variances are not required for filling pools.
*As HOA watering involves watering of their common areas and in many cases the City of Plano right of way (which has no address), it was decided that all HOA watering and addresses ending in zero would follow an EVEN address watering schedule.
Newly installed landscapes may be granted a 30-day water variance upon approval. Variances are not required for filling pools. Request a Variance
